This is a serendipitous pairing of one of my figures and an oil painting by my sister, Jean Hord Roberts. We've been playing around with this over the past few months, beginning with our exhibit, Appalachian Voices, at Blue Spirit Gallery in Spartanburg, S.C. We love how each piece enhances the other.
